I'm a Turkish-qualified lawyer who got too curious about how things actually work under the hood — and never quite recovered.

That curiosity has taken me through competition law and platform economics, into building actual AI tools at a legal tech startup, and into researching how policy and regulation struggle to keep up with a tech landscape that won't slow down. I've learned that the hardest problems in deep tech are rarely the technical ones, that 'perfect' is the enemy of 'shipped,' and that law and engineering are less different than they look from the outside.

These days I'm pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities, writing about AI, law, and tech on Substack, and producing music (my EP and singles are on Spotify if you'd like to do your due diligence). I'm also a chess player and an NBA fan — which probably says more about my personality than anything above.

I'm based in Istanbul. I'm admitted to the Istanbul Bar. And I'm always up for a good conversation about any of the above.
